Do I need a bridal tan trial?
While not essential, we highly recommend a trial for all brides — especially if you're new to tanning or unsure about your ideal tone. It allows us to perfect your custom blend, timing, and finish with complete confidence ahead of the big day.
When you have a bridal trial tan, you will find (and love) the perfect shade of bronze prior to your big day and that is one less thing you have to worry about. Again, it’s about ensuring you have the best spray tan of your life on one of the most important days of your life; your wedding.
When should I book my bridal tan trial?
We recommend securing your booking as soon as your wedding date is confirmed. Fàux Tan works with a limited number of brides each season to ensure exceptional service. Your final tan is ideally scheduled 2 days before the ceremony.
How long will my bridal tan trial take?
Extra time is allocated to our bridal trial tan service for a thorough consultation with our tanner where you’ll discuss the finer details of your wedding from your dress style and colour, to whether you need your bridesmaids tanned or if your partner is considering a spray tan as well. From there, they’ll make their spray tan shade recommendation and the whole appointment will last 20 minutes.
How do I know what tan to ask for on my wedding day?
After your bridal tan trial, our tanner will make a note on your consult card that will have all your specific spray tan colour details on it. This makes things nice and easy when you return for your bridal tan, we know you have enough to remember so we want to make this experience as stress-free as possible!
What days are bridal tan trials available?
We offer spray tans Thursday & Fridays 4pm - 8pm at our Aspley & Morayfield salon. All available times can be found on our booking system.
How long will my tan last?
Our custom tan typically lasts 5-7 days from application, with proper prep and aftercare. You’ll receive product recommendations from your spray tanner to extend its beauty throughout your wedding and into the honeymoon. We highly suggest purchasing a tan extending moisturiser.
